Man Shot and Injured for Resisting Robbery in Kabirwala; Suspects Flee with Motorcycle

KABIRWALA: A 28-year-old man was shot and critically injured by armed robbers for resisting a  robbery attempt near the Jhang Road area, Rescue officials said.

According to details, the incident took place at the Jhallar Madina stop on Jhang Road, where armed dacoits intercepted the victim, identified as 28-year-old Hafiz Shahbaz, in an attempt to snatch his motorcycle. When Shahbaz put up resistance, the robbers opened fire, leaving him severely wounded. The suspects then fled the scene with the snatched motorcycle.

Upon receiving the information, Rescue 1122 teams rushed to the spot, provided initial first aid, and shifted the injured youth to the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Kabirwala for urgent medical treatment.

Local police have initiated an investigation into the incident to trace and arrest the fleeing suspects.
