Doha: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif,
accompanied by former Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, arrived in
Doha on a one-day visit to the State of Qatar.
Upon arrival at Doha Airport, the Prime Minister, former Prime Minister Nawaz
Sharif, and the Pakistani delegation were received by Qatar's Deputy Prime
Minister and Minister of State for Defence, Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin
Hassan bin Ali Al Thani.
The Prime Minister will proceed to Lusail Palace, where he will meet His
Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar. During
the meeting, the Prime Minister will convey his heartfelt condolences to the
Amir of Qatar, the Qatari Royal Family, and the people of Qatar on the demise
of the former Amir of Qatar, the late Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and
Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar are also accompanying
the Prime Minister.
