ABDUL HAKEEM: A group of 15 to 20 heavily armed individuals allegedly stormed a local hotel near the Motorway Interchange, leaving two people critically injured through gunfire and brutal physical assault.
According to initial reports, the attackers, armed with iron rods, clubs, and rifles, descended upon the hotel. During the violent onslaught, the suspects opened indiscriminate fire. One of the victims miraculously survived a near-fatal shot when a bullet grazed his forehead.
Both the injured individuals were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency medical treatment.
Eyewitnesses reported that the brazen attack caused intense panic and fear among citizens and bystanders in the vicinity.
Upon receiving the alert, a heavy contingent of police rushed to the crime scene. Law enforcement officials cordoned off the area and collected vital forensic evidence, including spent pistol bullet casings.
